How to set up an integration with a Blueleaf partner
This article will show you how to set up an integration with a Blueleaf partner. All Blueleaf integrations leverage the Blueleaf API and require an API Token(Key).
First, you need to get your API key. The token is both an identifier and password in one, so treat yours as you would your username and password. To find yours, follow the steps below:
From your dashboard, go up to settings on the upper right side of your screen.
Then, scroll down towards the bottom of the page and you will find the API token that you can activate and copy to put on your website or any platform you are using.
You will then add this API key to the Blueleaf partner. A list of Blueleaf partners can be found here: https://www.blueleaf.com/partners/
There are also integrations that may not be listed so if you work with a system but don't see it on the list, please contact vipsupport@blueleaf.com
Each of our partners are different in the way that they accept our API token. Some, like Money Guide Pro have a spot in their software to allow you to simply paste your API token. Others like Redtail, require you to contact their customer service.
If you're not sure how the system you're working on operates with API tokens, contact their customer service team and ask how to connect with Blueleaf.
