Managing inactive and $0 accounts

Sometimes the list of unassigned accounts will include accounts that are no longer active or that correctly have a $0 balance. Because these unassigned accounts do not affect the cost of Blueleaf, many advisors simply leave them in the unassigned list.

However, when there are many accounts it is often best to move them out of the unassigned list to make managing your accounts simpler.

Solution
The most common solution is to create a household/client called "Inactive Accounts" and simply assign the inactive accounts to that household which removes them from the Unassigned list.
