Blueleaf Billing: Compliance Log Overview

Interpreting the Compliance Log

The Compliance Log keeps a record of every flag resolved on a billing run, including what the flag was, how it was resolved, and when.

  1. Go to Billing Readiness.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page, below the flags table, and click the Compliance Log header to expand it.
  3. Review each resolved flag. Each entry shows:
    • The date the flag was resolved.
    • The flag type.
    • The client and account the flag applied to.
    • The resolution note.
  4. For flags that do not apply to a specific client, the entry is labeled Firm-level.

The Compliance Log header shows the number of resolved entries, such as Compliance Log (2 entries). If no flags have been resolved, it displays No resolved flags yet.

What the Compliance Log covers

The Compliance Log records resolved flags for the billing run selected in the billing time-frame dropdown at the top of the Billing Readiness page. The dropdown includes an option to view the current run or the projected run.

Each log entry is created when you resolve a flag using a Resolve Flag action:

  1. Click Mark as Resolved on the flag.
  2. Optionally enter details in Resolution Notes.
  3. The resolution is added to the Compliance Log. The entry combines the action taken with any notes you entered.
  4. If you do not select an action or enter a note, the resolution is recorded simply as Resolved.

Note: Compliance Log entries do not identify the user who resolved the flag. Users must have edit access to the Billing Readiness page to resolve flags.
